We have run courses for Solo Theatre performers at the White Bear Theatre in Kennington Lost Theatre in Stockwell The Actors Centre in Covent Garden and OtherPlace in Brighton.
All workshop series culminate in showcase performances

Reflections on Solo Theatre

Solo Theatre’s strength is its potential for making direct face to face contact with the audience and stimulating the collective imagination. The workshop will introduce an approach to writing and performing which explores fundamentals of character and narrative looking closely at characters both real and imaginary and focusing upon what is essential about their lives and their stories. We will introduce ideas of narrative structure and visual/physical aspects of performance which allow our characters to tell their stories more effectively and make our characters most striking.  
Colin Watkeys is director of the Face to Face Festival. He has worked with solo performers for over thirty years producing and directing all the solo theatre work of Claire Dowie and the late great Ken Campbell
